Do you have a nemesis?

I can't honestly say I do. I'm so amused when someone talks about another person as though they are their arch-enemy, like we're in a comic book. Sometimes women, about work, can be so dramatic: "She's trying to destroy me!" Do YOU have a nemesis? Who?

Despite the supposed nemesis in the form of another person, I think that most of us do have a nemesis. It is ourselves. We often are our own worst emeny. There is no one else that can "destroy" us more thoroughly then our thinking about ourselves. For me, that is my nemesis and I am in the process of banishing him from my life for good.

Ooo very insightful. I think the problem is we don't realize it often enough. Instead we project it out onto other people and dislike them for it, when it's really something in ourselves we dislike.
