First of all, I am European. I am currently living in the United States. As my immigration situation in the US is just pathetic, I often look at Canada as a much easier place where to be accepted to live. I looked online for a bunch of sites describing life here vs life there. What do you think? Canada or the US?

My views are slanted as I am Canadian. Both countries have much to offer immigrants. Some of the bonuses in Canada is the health care system(affordable/available to all),safer living situations(although there is no place in the world that is violence-free)a healthy employment chances and we are just damn nice people! There are better weather places in the US,plus a greater array of job opportunities, but the do have Mr. Bush as president. So all in all,it depends on what you are looking for.Good luck in your future choices.

Thanks for the response! I still have some time to choose, but I have to say that hanging out with the people who elected Bush as president definitely makes me think twice about staying here.
