I used to use regular, bleached white notebook paper, but began writing on recycled paper a few years ago. Actually, I use Banana Paper. I like the look of the paper, but all the visible fibers detract from the actual handwriting. Which type of paper do you use? Why?

I use white paper when I use paper (rarely). Generally, I type everything. So I'm not much of a paper waster.
However, I would LOVE to use recycled lined paper. Where did you find that? I don't like white paper much. I think it would be far easier to read what you've written on recycled paper. Can you get it in spiral notebooks? I would definitely buy it.

Yes, the kind I have comes in spiral notebooks. I buy it at the local university bookstore because their price is cheaper than online. But, the company website is www.ecopapers.com, and they have a lot of products. The notebooks are a little pricey, but I love them. One of the notebooks I bought has green lines.

I am working in the field of Environment. So aware about the things regarding paper making. I use when it is nessesary to use recyclable paper, other wise comuter entry is good option.
At the same time the paper production is increased drastically. And those who are aware about the fact regarding the use of trees in paper making, they also can't do much about that. We must now promote the tree growing, not as a monoculture but at local level with varities of local tree species which are there and which were there as the area trees.
Yes hard work but aware people must go with that hardship!

I prefer to use the computer and to top it all I also prefer to use my microphone with Dragon Naturally Speaking whenever I start writing my actual ebook or something such as my sales letters because then it sounds more like me. When I tend to write things out manually or even with typing and not speaking it then I seem to change my words more often than when I just speak it into the mic.

I just found their website - it sounds like a great program. I would really like to try that.
I'm usually a computer-writer too. If I write in a notebook or on paper, I usually use stuff I have lying around the house. I already own quite a few blank notesbooks, so I doubt I'll run out soon. Some of them have recycled paper, some of them don't.

Maybe I need to try that, too. I've found that my typing skills have severely declined over the years, even though I actually type more now than I used to. Perhaps it's the speed that messes me up. But a speech to type program sounds really cool-- I bet it saves a lot of time.

I absolutely love banana paper, but it's too expensive to get it in the US (as far as I'm concerned). I bought a pack when I was in Costa Rica, and it just makes me happy.
I use recycled paper for printing, and whenever I can I use scraps of pre-used papers so I'm not wasting them. All that white space just begging to be filled!

I've seen banana paper in stores, but its too expensive. I'd gladly switch if it was cheaper to. How much did you pay for your banana paper? Have you heard of coffee paper?
If your're wondering, the last banana paper notebook I saw was small and it cost $2. That's way too much for me.
