What if you were offer a million dollars for your house but you had to leave everything with it( your furniture, appliances, clothes, even your picture albums) would you do it? And if so, how long would it take you to shout yes and run out the door?

I was all for it up to the point when you stated pictures. I would not leave my pictures for any amount of money. Many of them are way to important to me to leave for money. Everything else sure they could have it with a million I could replace it and then some.
Best wishes

Its all yours, thanks for the cash! I wouldn't even hesitate. Then I would hire someone to go and steal my pictures back!

If it were only the furniture and the appliances I wouldn't have had any second thoughts. But I'm not leaving without my photo albums. I love taking and keeping pictures and I'm keeping mine.
But now that I've had more time to think it over... I just might give the photo albums up for a million dollars. Then I'll buy a new digital camera and a vidoe camera so I could keep videos too hahhaha

I was there with you until you said picture albums! To me sentimental value is much more important than monetary value. I would have to pass on the cool mil...LOL, it would hurt, but I would!

I have to admit for the most part I'd be fine take it but I do have a few things that mean more to me because of who gave me the items. The one stuffed animal that belonged to my grandfather for example. However I have to admit I'd probably do it. Most of my stuff I can replace without a problem. It would just be a few items I'd be hesitating over.

It would all depend on how long we had to leave the house for. If it was forever and there was no way that we could not go back and get any of our things then I would say no. We have alot of pictures of our kids and I just cant leave them behind for any kind of money. I know that they are just pictures and clothes and things but you will have to spen alot of money to replace those things.

Gotta say I'm sorely tempted even with the photos. Why on earth anyone would want my stuff anyway i don't know. I thought about my computer and all the stuff on it, I have lots of photos i haven't backed up yet and I think "No, I could not do it", especially now I think about it, I'd probably have to leave my pets too and I couldn't do it. Gee, I'm about to cry at the very thought of it. Lol.

Hi deesamps,
I wouldn't take that deal. I would be glad to get a new wardrobe...and a blender would be nice since mine blew up but I couldn't part with the pictures. My photo albums were considered when devising an escape plan incase of fire !!lol My husband has mentioned selling our home to purchase a bigger one and so far I'm not the intrested. I have so many memories in our home. Our house has been the only home our kids have had...as a mom, you know just how many memories 4 walls can hold.
Ok I'm a LITTLE sentimental but you can't put a price on memories.
wardrobe....$100
Furnature...$10,000
house.......$100,000
memories....priceless

I am sentimental just like you; our memories are priceless and I couldn't bear to part with my photo albums or scrapbooks. They hold the precious memory reminders of my children as babies and show how much they have changed and grown through out the years. I loved your comment and marked it as my best and gave you a + rating! Hope that you have a great day.

That is a no brainer for me because whin my ex-girlfriend kicked me out (illegally) she distroyed all of my property including all of my pictures) Since I do not own the house that I am living in and I have been looking forwqard t moving I would do sommersaults down the street naked if someone wanted to give me a millino dollarsa for this place and all of the belongings that ar in it.

I would say no. I can buy new clothes, furniture and new appliances, but I am not ready to let go of the rest of the things. I want to keep my photoalbums, my diaries and the notebooks with poems and half finished short stories (I still hope to finish them one day ) I would also be sad to let go of the presents that I received from my friends from other countries or things that I have bought abroad, because they would be different to replace. Things that I have bought in my own country would not be a problem, but many of my things are from other countries.

I'm a sucker for memories. There are too many things that have grown to my heart. I would never ever leave them for all the treasures in the world. Like my plush toys which I've had FOREVER, the presents I got from my best friend, my self-made jewelry, my CDs, my favourite books (which helped me through really hard times), my stamp collection!!!
... no. I wouldn't do that.
