Does anyone else hate the sight of blood?

Last week I made a ham, and I asked my husband to cut it. He said he'd do it later. So the next day I wanted some for lunch, so I start cutting it and slice my finger. I went to grab a bandaid and I noticed that blood was dripping all over the floor. So I called my husband and he said he would come and take me to the hospital. By this time my stomach is turning and I ran for the bathroom and i am overheating and thinking I must have cut it deep because I am getting really dizzy and shaky. So we go to the hospital and he lets me off at the door and I am shaking so bad I had to get someone to sign my name on the sheet. I seen the triage nurse and she replaced my kitchen towel with a bandage and told me to wait. Well I waited for 3 hours and finally I get to see a doctor. I am almost in tears as I ask him isn't there tape that he can use instead of stitches. He said yes they have glue too. At this point the thought of getting a needle in my finger is more daunting than when I gave birth. So I said yes I want that. So he went to get it and came back and while he was putting it on he says it is not that bad and I shouldn't have waited. They gave me a tetanus and I was on my way. My husband is still laughing at me. He rushed home from work to sit in the hospital for 3 hours for a doctor pretty much to put a bandaid on me. I feel like a little kid who was patted on the head and told my boo boo would be better soon.

I am exactly the same as you, I am such a sook, seeing blood especially when it is mine makes me sick, I can't stand needles, in fact when I go to the doctors with a problem I always say I am just enquiring as it depends on how it can be fixed if I would proceed at all ...I am such a chicken.
