I recently saw a report on the news about a school scanning fingerprints for lunch money. They place a scanner by the cash register and when a child does not have lunch money(maybe they forgot)or the parents prefer to be billed the kids can simply scan their fingerprint and go through. I personally believe it is pretty cool that they are doing this. It helps kids save lunch time(now they don't get so much) and they are not being sent to school with money for which they may purchase drugs or illegal substances on school campus. But it seems someone has decided that they would rather not do that because it invades privacy. What Privacy??!!??!! This is not an invasion of privacy. You object to this? Invasion of privacy is the president breakin in on your phone line because you are muslim or being spied on because you are from mexico. I cannot believe that people are fighting something that could potentially help our kids. Look at these kids who get beat up for their lunch money everyday. Look at the kids that go to school and purchase cigarettes or marijuana. Or this so called "CHEESE" a mixture of illegal drugs and heroin or cocaine, sold in small packages that can appear as just a gum wrapper but has killed several already! This is absurd that you would fight something that will be a life saver for some kids! I believe that some people have become so addicted to attention that they are ruining their children's lives because of their own addiction. You might as well be an alcoholic.
