Do you write daily diary?

When I was very young I read the autobiography of Benjamin Franclin. He has vividly narrated how his life was transformed and which rules he followed for the purpose.
One of his habit was to maintain daily diaries. He used to record daily events in his note book. On week ends he would sit with it and analysed how his performance, relationship with other prople and other thinga can be managed.
The idea of keeping daily diaries stuck me. I started writing diary daily in the evening after finishing all works.
It has helped me much. Its a faithful record of the events. I'm utmost honest in writing my diary. My diary is my true self and the real me.
I record not only events therei but my reflections on people and other matters also. I've noticed a thing that if I write a comment about a friend it alwats comes true.
So friends come on and share your experience of writing daily diaries.

I have the habit of writing dairy for 8 years since i was 12 years old, it continues till i reached 20 years and i stoppped writing diary now during that time i was busy with studies etc and became a bit lazy to devoote time and write it...
I feel very relieved whenever i open my old diaries of my 12 years age etc and read,and recall my sweet lost days which can't be experienced in reality anymore now..
Its really good that u are still continuing writing the diary..I hope u might have mentioned atleast once about me in ur diary.

Hahaha! Don't worry friend. You're already there as my other friends are.
You'll be glad to know that I've even noted when you mailed me or I had sent you SMS and got your reply.
So relax. You enrich my memory in the present and continue to do so in the future when I'll recollect my memories by flipping through the pages of my old diaries.
Some habit are hard to die.

Writing diaries daily as far as iam concerned defenetly will land you in troubles.If you are boy in case you borrows money for interest when you go and write this incident in your diary will land you in trouble.When your parents are your wife sees this you get thrashed.Similarly you might do petty mistakes and if anyone sees this in your family they will criticize you.Better forget the present and the past and think of the future it is a golden bit of advice i can give to mylotters who write diary.Its my opinion..i dont want to hurt anyone.

The possibility of being caught in an embarassing position is not ruled out. But think about the positive and constructive trauts also. Because when he totally honest to himself while making notes in his daily diary then he'll think twice before doing any such work which is considered as unethical, immoral or vice. The diary willl work as his conscience and help him stay in the right track.
Marcus Auralius, the Roman emperor, used to write his reflections and remarks in his daily diaries. The total volume of his journals has been published under the title ''Meditations'' and the full set is in 18 vols.
I've been greatly benefitted from this constructive habit I must say.

Well Im in a habit of keeping the records of all the events or you can say important events happening in my life ..you cannot call it a daily diary cause i dont write it daily whenever something important happens to me either something good or something hurting i write n write n write about it untill i start feeling light...sometimes i feel i can convey my true feeling through writing very well so i have noticed many of my friends ask me to write an application or a letter for them cause they think that im a good writer and i think thats all because of this record keeping diary....
