are you wel motivated to go to work?
are you really the kind of person who loves to work at night?
how sure are you that its really what you want?
what do you think is the effect on you working for other people that has different culture?
well im a callcenter agent for almost 2 years now. i became a telemarketer, customer service agent and a technical support agent as well. i worked in different companies a callcenter "hoppers" as what they call. some people say im lucky because im working in one of the a highest paid industry in the country. but really for the long time im working in the callcenter its like the money that im earning is still not enough. for some reason i dont know why but i havent had any savings until now. and im not happy for that
but lets admit the fact that there are a lot of people that are into it now? why? even myself cant answer it honestly.... i dont even know why im writing about this....

I have a friend who is a call center agent, he does not have the motivation to go to work as there is no accountabilty to your work, as at the end of his shift, he will pass on the issues to the next person on shift. And he can goes off work happily, then when he return to work the next shift, he has to take the issues that was not resolves and need to follow up. It is a chain event everytime you go off work and go to work.
At during the cource of work answering call, he will face all kinds of people, good, bad, foul mouth, abusive, etc..and the worst part, being a call agent, you cannot talk back and tell the caller off, else you will be told off by the boss to get a new job. Literally, call agent is like a virtual punching bag for the caller. It need to talk all kind of "s**t" from the caller.
Well, at time, I am guilt of been the abusive caller as well, trying to get thing solve over the phone with the call agent and thing does not go you way..
Hard life of a call agent... salute to them...

My brother is a call center agent. He didn't have much trouble adjusting to the graveyard shift because he used to sing professionally in a band - he's been to Japan three times already. However, when his band broke up, his savings were all used up. The call center industry is a very timely blessing for him. He needed the money and he wasn't getting any younger, which was a big factor when he was still in entertainment.

One of the things I come back to myLot is to release stress by discussion, If I consider your concern, my thoughts are occupied with thoughts of you instead of what ever thoughts that stress me out, Another is when I try to release my thoughts in opening discussions like you just did, I am emptying my mind to welcome better thoughts. gee... are you into this. That is perhaps why you are writting about what you did wrote. It is a healthy hobby, believe me, If it's income you are thinking of, send me a message so we can communicate privately, you can now because you are in my friends list. I think I have a perfect income generating opportunity for you where you enjoy your present call center job. PM me.
