Why are there so many "witches" on this website?!

I think it's weird that there are all sorts of people on here that call themselves witches and wizards and talk about stuff like that on here! It's just weird to me and I don't understand them! Do you feel uncomfortable with them along side you on this website? I do! Not trying to be mean about it but it's odd and makes me feel uncomfortable. What do you think about this? How do you feel about them talking about the weird things they do sometimes?

Ok first off there is no such thing as a "wizard" in the real world....Secondly I HAVE TO ask...what do you find so "weird" about it? seriously....what makes you so uncomfortable about it? How am I any different to anyone else on here ya know? I make you uncomfortable because I happen to walk a different spiritual road than you? I'm sorry but THAT makes no sense...
Do you understand Muslims? What about Buddhists? Or Native American Spiritualists? How about Jewish ppl? if not...do THEY make you uncomfortable too or is it just the terms 'WITCH/WITCHCRAFT/WICCAN/WICCA' that make you uncomfortable?
Truth be told, you not understanding my personal spiritual path is completely irrelivent to me...In fact there are other Pagans on this site, on the web and in the real world who dont understand my personal path and thats fine...its PERSONAL...now if you are curious (you meaning anyone not just you specifically) then just ask questions, no big deal....Other than that though, we are no different to anyone else

It doesn't bother me at all.....I even respond to some of their posts because I'm curious about their Wiccan ways.....I think it's fascinating.....it's no different than talking to someone of a whole different religion than you are....is a whole learning experience and I like it but everyone has their own opinions and if you feel weird about them,just stay away from their posts and ignore their discussions

I think you feel uncomfortable because of the long term connection between evil and witchcraft that has been claimed by the Christian church for centuries now, but you honestly have nothing to fear and nothing to feel uncomfortable about. For starters, wizards belong in fantasy books. Secondly, if you have a problem with Paganism, Wicca, witchcraft etc, do you perhaps also have a problem with judaism, buddhism or the islam? Try to consider Paganism and so on as a religion just like the religions I just mentioned (although witchcraft isn't exactly a religion, but anyway) and you might feel a lot better about it all. Respect and acceptance of the believes and religions of other people is the first step towards world peace, an open mind helps a great deal.

I'm afraid I don't understand why you're writing all this in response to my comment, especially as I've tried to be more understanding than some of the other users.
I understand you just want to continue to make fun of Paganism and witchcraft and that there isn't much left for me to say to you. I merely ask for some respect and an open mind, but I understand that isn't possible here. Perhaps as you get older you will come to understand that there are more religions and believes in the world than just Christianity. I'm afraid that I do doubt it, but miracles can always happen :)

what do you find weird about it?
why would you be uncomfortable about being on the same website?
what weird things do Witches talk about?
the world is a very diverse place, and it's very sad that some people are actually disturbed by that. diversity is good. it makes for interesting discussions.
I find your post quite sad.
