India virtually out of world cup. Now what about indian cricket?

Well i say this was always on cards how many of us were confident that India will bring the cup to home???As of me,I expected India will be out in the super 8 round but it happened a little earlier...Indian cricket is not going to be effected by this lose...We have a big schedule ahead A england tour later this year and a busy schedule after that...The only matter of concern is India cannot afford to loose to a week team like Bangladesh in a big tournament but things like this happen...

First I would like to talk about a possibility of Bermuda vs Bangladesh match being fixed and Bermuda winning. If that happens, then India will goto Super 8 and lose all matches there. If that doesn't happen, India is coming back home soon. About the fans, well, what you've said makes a lot of sense because on numerous occasions in the past it has happened. No matter how badly the players play, the fans rant and rave for a few days and again line up to cheer for the next tournament. But this time I feel Pakistan and India both quitting in the first round has created an atmosphere of suspicion in the subcontinent over match fixing. Fans won't be very forgiving this time. Many have already jumped over cricket. Several more will later on.

I do feel the same thing..But people not going to forget this exit of India from the world cup considering that this was the best team went for world cuo from India...But like you said,cricket is their in the bllod of most Indians...so they will again comes back and cheer "India jeetega"...but will definitely takes time...

I am big ex indian fan.....now here is some interesting detail... starting fromthe top order i guess this people they should do this rahul dravid, sachin, ganguly, sehwag, And a big hero Chappel they should give CR( COMPULSARY RETIREMENT ) PATHAN AND SREESHANT:- RIGHT NOW THER ARE SO HAPPY BCOZ THEY DON'T PLAY ANY GAME... AND ANOTHER 4-5 PLAYERS PLAY SOME GULLY CRICKET WITH SOME PAKISTANI CRICKETER....................

yes it's true really lost in a very bad manner and i think that people will also forget this after some days and they will follow up it again..

I think Indian team should forget everything what happened in past and they should concentrate in near future game so that they can win in those matches.

Yea india is out but i will not affect the indian cricket. coz this world cup was last world cup for almost half of the indian team. and lot of new young cricket will join and they will again raise indian cricket. People will soon foget it in month

ya this is retiring season...some of the indian poor legends should retire..and this is a time of changes.the captainand the coach will change ...then its time to crush bangladesh in the upcoming series after WC
