why do guys never cry?

First of all, it is not bad to cry. It is in fact a scientifically proven fact that crying makes us less vulnerable to emotional pressures and its never too bad to let out some tear's from our eyes. I myself have cried a lot of times, and sometimes in front of strangers, and i know that it doesn't makes me less male or more female. The male and female factor are related to my genes and not my ability to cry.

I think they were taught if you cry then you are a sissy. I have seen some cry but not to many of them. I would like to know who ever started that about men being sissys if they cried. It must have started along time ago hey so its not our fault.LOL

hi,yes,there is such impression,but as per me i am revealing here i cried when my wife passed away.Still i can't control some times in the late nights.

Yeah right! We also cries and we cant help it when we do.. Its just like, we dont like other people to see us crying.. We tend to cry when we're all alone so nobody can see us cryin.

Guys do cry coz they too are humans.Don't we see them cry as kids so the emotions remain the same.Yes somtimes they do conceal their tear but thats only infront of everybody as we gals do.But infront of their near ones they do shed tears and there is no harm in it its natural.

guys do cry but they rather profer to be very hard. They are humans like every one else.

I don't think the theory that men don't cry is true at all..just the other day this fool that was moved into my house against my permission (gotta go find my how to lose a roomate right now discussion to know what I am talking about) was in here crying like a little b**** all because his boyfriend dumped him..he made my best friend (the one that is supposed to be here) cry like a baby last weekend..I don't know if they are so easy to cry because they are gay, but I can honestly say I haven't seen a straight man cry in a very long time..

Yes what ever you have said is exactly right..guys act that they dont cry in difficult situations but they do cry internally and even if they cry loud they see to it that nobody's arount

If God didn't want us males to cry, then he should've made us into unemotional androids or Vulcans like Spock. Yet, I still stand by my beliefs that if men have the time to cry, they have time to get over it quickly and move on with life. I know I have. As I said in another, related topic, sometimes crying can be a waste of time and energy that isn't well maintained. When men cry, it makes other men look bad, and it makes them look embarrasing and foolish. Not crying is a part of growing up. You get over the pain as quickly as possible and you move on in life as if it never happened. End of story.

i asked why guys don't cry.. well, a friend of mine (a boy) said that they just followed what the environment say about guys not crying.. well, they cry but they try hard not to let other people see that they're crying..

Yes boys do also cry. They cry not over petty things or simple problems like we girls do. They cry over things which majorly affect them and also they cry in private and not show that they are weak because they know that when people see them crying especially us girls, we would think of them as weak and not able to handle emotional problems. But it is not bad for them to cry, like girls, they also need to pour their emotions because containing feelings for so long is also bad for a person's health i guess.

Well.. guys from young are being taught not to cry easily.. as for me.. i tink its bcos guys are not so emotional than gals la.. No offence to any ladies here who tink guys are more emotional.. well.. i tink most of the guys will onli cry when they really get hurt deeply.. most cases are from family or loved one..

guys never cry?!? its impossible.. because no people can't be a true and real person without crying.. guys cry but they don't want anybody see that they were crying.. they were very afraid of what people say when they see they're cryin'

Men is sports cry all the time. These are the big boys who are at the top of their sport and finely tuned. They break down and cry like wimps when their lives are altered..ie.. being traded to another team or retiring after making 50million. The thresh point of emotion is not high enough for the normal dude to cry. The emotion or impact on an event has to to forceful enough to shed tears. Most of the crap is just not worth it.

My husband cries and he don't care who's around him.. He cries when he hears a song, thats heart breaking.. He cries sometimes when we watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition or a sad movie..Is father never cries. He got it from his mother..

I don't know why guys never cry,but which is always true.At that moment,I feel them is so strong.A lot of times I don't want to cry out but I can't control myself then I really repect them.

yeah,of course they do.I cann't imagine what will happen to them if they never cry.The ability of cry is just a thing for human to express they emotion.Is that wrong to express your sad or happy feelings by cry?NO!A true man also cries.When you want to laungh,laungh;when you want to cry,cry.Just be yourself. Guys cry but is just more hard. Guys cry a hide form or where alone. Is a different type of cry. A true sentence is that "human cry", male or female. The fact that is a sign of feminity is true. MxF are different in much points. In Earth, girls are more sensitive. Boy are less. It isn´t a rule! Depends of each. Put on your mind: guys "never" cry because they´re simply guys, just this! :) Don´t mean that we dont have a heart.
