Dark spots..

Well I'm pretty fair skinned myself. I don't have the problem thankfully...lol I did have a friend years ago that had dark elbows and knees. She used lemon juice and it lightened them naturally without causing any other problems.

Yes I do, and boy am I so aware of them. I started life with very fair skin, my classmates would as me if I'm really Asian. But then I discovered my innate love for swimming, I literally took to it like fish to water. I spent my summers in swim schools, first as a student and later on as an assistant. Then I gained weight and I never got my color back. I spent some dimes with the derma last year just so I could regain my color and I guess most of my body did recover the fairness. I had lost most of the extra pounds which I believe contribute to dark spots, especially places where skin meet. So there... haha. I'm not gonna stop until the spots are not so obvious anymore. It kills my confidence.

good for you. you are blessed to have such a wonderful skin. i have the "morena" type of skin. and i have a dark elbow and i used to hate it. i just put lotion on it every now and then to keep it smooth and i think it's better now since i am no longer irritated to see it's darkness.... acceptance i guess. hehe.

I have dark spots under my eyes!!! And I can't get rid of them for anything. I've had them since I was 21 and gave birth to my 3rd son. I've tried everything to get rid of them. I don't have them anywhere else....But I sure look like I have big black eyes all the time:-( Oh also, under my eyes, I have white marks under the skin. They look like scars! Little children ask me all the time how I got stabbed...I just can't win....

I don't have dark spots, althought I do have freckles -- tons of the little buggers and one small birthmark on my nose. I just cover them up with make up on my face and let the other little monster run wild and free!!
