I have two worst presents that I have ever received and they were both food made by friends. One was homemade bread in a brown paper bag, the lunch size bags. It was made that way and I think that the bread may even have been baked in the brown bag. There was raffia tied around the top and it looked quite festive but OMG, it tasted so bad. I had to throw it away. The other food item was from a different friend and it was some strange little cube things that she told me were plum pudding or some such, something for Christmas and they were really gross. I threw it away too. That particular friend couldn't cook well and I was always having to pretend to eat food that I hated so I wouldn't hurt her feelings. Sometimes I couldn't do it though, couldn't pretend because it was just too terrible tasting. She was one of only a very small number of people that I have ever tried to be so nice to, usually I am not that nice! She's gone now, passed away three years ago. Really miss her terrible cooking sometimes!

"Really miss her terrible cooking sometimes!" That is so sweet! I guess the important thing is to remember it's the thought that counts, which it seems like you really get!

That would have to be paperweights. They are always lumpy and supposed to be something but you can never figure out what.

I've got a few of those as well and they make great little garden trolls. I dot them all around the garden and let others try to figure out what they are supposed to be!
