why do we fight in the name of religion? if u read the holy books carefully and understand them, then u would know they all teach the same: that is: b a good human being. if u r a good human being then u r religious cos u listen to the scriptures. if u r religious, then there won't b the need to fight cos all religions teach that fighting is a sin.

Why do people keep on fighting without knowing what other religion book says. Everybody can go on saying that their religion is the best whatever, there are some who knows about their religion and keep on fussing that theirs is the best but they forget about other religion. Anyway civilized people never fight over such issues, so lets be civilized and give a damn to those who try to create such discussions.

I'm afraid it's because of attitudes like this: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/917939.aspx

Unfortunately, a lot of so-called believers try to interpret the scriptures in their own words and use this to reprimand and oppress others. If you noticed nowadays, a lot of people use the religion to gain for themselves, leaving and concealing the true meanings of it behind. Just like the holy book warns us, "beware of those who pretend to be believers and hide themselves behind the religion, because they're the one who doubted the scriptures itself and use this to misguide the people". The devil hides himself behind the face of an angel.
