My boyfriend and I never get to go out anywhere anymore. We usually cuddle up in front of his TV and watch a movie and that's a close to a date that we've had in at least half a year.
So do you and your S/O ever get to go on dates anymore? If you do then what do you do when you go out? Are you like me and mine and just cuddle up in front of the TV and watch a movie instead of going anywhere?

Please pardon me for saying this... but I really think your boyfriend is really terribly unromantic or just plain lazy. You just ask him to start getting creative... or you will leave him for someone better lol. :P

I have told him several times that we need to go out on a real date. I tell him he isn't very romantic but he doesn't seem to care that every relationship needs a little romance. I won't leave him for another guy for it though. I'll just keep pressuring him to take me out until he gets the picture.

Oh giggles, sorry to say this, but what kind of a boyfriend you got there. Not that I'm criticizing, but how boring!!! urge him to stand up and bring you somewhere from time to time. I would have prefer to go out with my bunny than with a boyfriend like that. Sorry!!!

Wow I never realized that it was so bad but everyone that has replied has told me this. I guess I better punch him until he takes me lol. What's bad is that the movie theater is right down the road. It is pretty boring but I love to get to spend time with him no matter what we are doing.

I reserve 2 days a week for "our-time", when me and my fiancee will go out and enjoy each otherĀ“s company.

He sounds so lazy i would be bored rigid by now .
I would say i'm having a girls night out and get dressed up to the nines!
Life to short to spend your nights watching films you need to do some fun things go out for meals go clubbing lifes for living not for watching it go by.

As a matter of fact we don't go out that often and that's because we don't see eachother too much and when we finally get to spend some time together, we just do what you do: we just stay and watch tv or talk of anything that comes to our minds. it's not how it's supposed to be, i know, but i can't ask him too much as he works his soul out during weekdays so in the weekends we usually stay and do nothing...
anyway i don't see what's to blame about all this. after all, going out is not everything a relationship is based on. i mean, a true realtionship doesn't have to involve going out for dinner or something in order to be interesting. most of the times, just staying in eachother's arms and cherishing the time you spend together is much more valuable than some movie or play you see when going out.
don't get me wrong, i like going out, i sometimes just wouldn't get inside the house at all, but i feel happy when spending our time alone as well.
lots of hugs and kisses!

When we were still dating,we usually go out almost every time. We would go to the mall, watch a movie, eat out and other stuffs that dating couples usually do. But since we are already a couple for almost 6 years now, we just spend most of our time at home. I mean he fetches me after work and we have dinner together at home. We make sure we spend quality time though and spends the weekend together. Saturday and Sunday are the days when we go out or eat out and also during our monthsaries and special days.
