is orkut deletin profiles???

may be yes.. if some profiles are inactive for long long time and no one accessing it then may be they will delete it...

The mail you got is actually junk mai. Orkut is not deleting any profiles and you can check the authenticity of this by going to the news link. Orkut has officially declared all mails as pranks and has advised all users to refrain from forwarding the mail to others as it causes unnecessary inconvenience to all. Please do not pay any heed to such mails and please tell your friends to ignore them too.

I got another mail from my friend through Orkut and it is like this "Dear Orkut User, THE ONLY TRUE MAIL ABOUT DELETION OF PROFILES ON ORKUT If you do not forward this message to 25 of your friends in less than 30 seconds then your profile will be immediately deleted. There are a few more conditions to be followed which are as follows: a) You should do the whole process with your left hand. b) With the other hand you should hold your left ear from the back of your head. c) You should only keep one eye open through the whole process. And after you send this message you need to restart your machine 10 times standing on one leg. Doing all this will prevent the deletion of your profile. IF YOU HAVE BEEN STUPID ENOUGH TO BELIEVE ALL THE PREVIOUS MAILS AND MADE YOUR FRIENDS' INBOX FLOODING WITH SENSELESS FORWWARDS,DON'T EVEN DARE NOT TO FORWARD THIS. Orkut is not going to delete your profile unless and until you break their rules and regulation.

no man.that is not the casewith orkut.i know no. of people who made profiles years ago and forgot about it.the profiles still exist.and u r gettin' scraps ,aren't u? also,the site would never ask u 2 forward the info.instead it would put a notice on its page with notices.don't waste ur time forwarding these messages
