In high school, the old saying was "snitches get stitches". Well would someone please tell me how to handle "snitches" on the job. There is a divorced woman on my job who is such a busy body! She has been there only six months, and had created so much drama in our unit. She goes to our supervisor on everyone and everything. Let there be one file out of place, she is snitching. I try to remain professional at all times, but I am about to bust! Anyone have to endure those type of people?

I'm sure the supervisor has her all figured out by this time. Let her continue snitching as long as you are doing your job the best that you possibly can. Maybe snitching is her only chance to get some attention. If she finds that it isn't getting her anywhere, maybe she will look around to see how other people behave and start to pattern herself after them. It sounds to me like she needs a friend. If she had an interesting life with friends to fill her spare time, she might not need to snitch for attention. (Maybe you and your fellow employees can take turns being the designated friend for the week.)
