Are you annoyed when your cat rub up against you?

A cat has a behavior where they like to rub up against you. Do you have a pet cat? Did you experienced already that your pet cat rub up itself against you, especially at your feet? Are you annoyed when your pet cat do this rubbing up against you? Share me your thoughts if you say yes or no. I think they have reasons why they do this.

Hello paulo26. No, I dont get annoyed when my pet cats rub up against me. I find it cute when they do that. There is a reason why cats do that. It is said that when cats rub up against you, it means that they're trying to get your attention.

No it doesn't annoy me because I like it when they are affectionate. And you're right they do this to mark you with their scent as a way of saying to other cats that you belong to that cat. The scent glands are located along their cheeks where their whiskers are.
