In earlier times, people treated commitments as something sacred. Words given was already an oath, promises were rarely broken. People nowadays tend to accept unfaithfulness as a moral crime, to some, a natural human error. Some people who tends to make a number of one night stands and occassional flirting is sometimes taken as a sick person who need to undergo therapy. I don't blame those people who tend to be cautious of trusting and falling for someone nowadays. The society has started to accep unfaithfulness as a common issue. Do u still believe u can still find a faithful lover who can be loyal to u even if ur not around? U tell me.
