Really, it's completely normal for your hair to fall out - sometimes in disturbing clumps - usually starting around three months postpartum and lasting up to about the sixth month. I'm more surprised to hear that it didn't happen with your first baby, actually. Rest assured that it is completely normal, and it WILL stop soon. When you're pregnant, you don't lose hair - so it's normal to shed the excess hair after giving birth. I remember it being irritating and disconcerting, but...it's normal. Hope it passes quickly for you!

Thank you, it's nice to know it'll soon pass. It just gets everywhere and is very irritating.

I had the same thing happen to me with my second baby too. My first born didn't give me this problem. I also couldn't really eat the things I wanted to. Iam a nursing mom so my baby would up chuck if I ate things that she didn't like. My mom went to a Chinese herbal shop and got me some soup concoction that helped. In about a month time my hair didn't fall out as bad. It was a soup to balance out my hormones.
