Interesting. I guess it really depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for intimacy and stability, then a serious relationship would probably be much more rewarding for you. If you are not looking for a committment, but just companionship and physical affection, then having "friends with benefits" does sometimes work out, at least for awhile. However, having physical relations with a friend can sometimes be just as complicated as being in a committed relationship. People can become confused and one friend may actually have stronger feelings than they let on. And it can still be hurtful when that friend committs to a serious relationship with someone else, and you are left alone again.
