if theres one thing....

If I could go back in time and change anything, I would like to have been wiser with my money when I was a bit younger. I wish I would have saved and invested and stayed away from credit cards. I got myself into a significant amount of debt, and it has negatively affected my life for years and will continue to do so for years to come. I am living from paycheck to paycheck and constantly stressed about money, afraid I won't have enough to make my minimum payments. Had I been smarter, I wouldn't be rich or anything, but at least I would have some security and flexibility when it came to my finances. I really want to feel independent, which is really hard when you owe money. This might seem insignificant and materialistic to some, but it really has greatly reduced the quality of my life and would really have been quite easy to prevent.
