Do you eat only what LOOKS good ?

DO you only eat what looks good or you usually go with your other senses ? When someone wants you to taste something new but that doesn't look good will you still try it ? My bf is very difficult ..not only it has to look good but the texture has to look ok for him ...for exemple : he wont even try snails or quid because of the texture and the look of it ..Are you like him? Do you only eat what looks good or you go with the smell, texture or even the general comments people give you?
