I like Bruges in Belgium. It is full of beautiful old buildings and lovely looking canals. There are so many flowers there in summer. It is a picture of colour at that time of year. In winter it snows and the white crispy ground looks magical. People were even cycling over the ice like streets.

i like nantes in France. it not only has all the urban facilities but also the calm of suburbs or a country side. excellent transport system, warm and friendly people. and it's infact declared the best city of europe by times in 2003 and by the french people themselves specially the youth in a survey. it is also known as city of students. a green flush city with all the charms of a big city. do come to see it

I like many European cities. The last city I have been too was Lisbon. European cities have some charm, that emanates from their architecture. I like the narrow streets, the old buildings, the fountains...Cities in North America lack all these features.

I love your Bruges in the winter when they have their ice sculpture exhibit. It is magical, as is Brussels at Christmas. Am I remembering right,, is it the Ryue de Saint Catherine where the Chistmas Market is?
Anyhow, as much as I love Belgium, my favorite city that I have visited in Europe is Inverness in Scotland. The rustic nature appeals to me, as does the fact that you must travel though the Highlands to get there, which are incredible. I love the Loch, and boating, and best of all the very off possibility that one day we may be lucky enough to spot Nessie!
