I can't believe this, i was outside today and realized I still have some of my Christmas decorations out there and here it is almost the end of March. Our windmill is still wrapped in green garland and christmas lights. My front storm door still has the wreath and angel attached to it. And my hubby just switched the storm window for the screen. GEES Louise! Does anyone else out there still have any Christmas decoations up in March?

It seems many have a very definite time frame for them to go up and come down. I must get more organized.

i just have a few light strings up. i'm a sucker for lighted things-you can't get me out of the neon sculpture area at spenser's LOL there used to be a guy around the corner from me that kept it all up year round.he was elderly tho,and i think it brought joy to him.

I can understand that, the elderly gentleman. I live in an "army town". When the war in Iraq started a lot of military families kept the christmas trees up until spouses came home. You'd see people scouring thrift stores for gift wrap and de corations and such and the parents would go shopping together and maybe it woulod be april or may. I thought it was very sentimental and cute. Non-military knew when spouses were home because a tree would be out with the trash and outside lights would come down.

We don't put up any outside Christmas decorations other than a few stickers on the window, but come to think of it, we haven't taken those stickers down yet or put away all the little Christmas jars, we still have change and stuff in them.

I have Christmas stickers on a window to a cabinet in the dining room of stow flakes and such and they have been there for 7 years now. just too pretty to remove. The little jars sound interesting. Any photos to share with us?

I have mine down by the 7th of january it suposse to be bad luck to have up any longer but I can understand the decorations out side get forgotten about or you just thinck some one else will remember to bring them in. My mum left decorations in some trees in her front yard I think they just blew away in the wind at some point.

Actually no I don't have any of the regular decorations from Christmas still up...but to be perfectly honest..if it were up to me...I'd keep decorations up until Easter--which it almost is--as for the tree--I just hate, hate taking it down--However, I do have a "Christmas" section in my bedroom--a very small artificial tree all decorated and hanging up on the one wall surrounded by X-mas decorations around it--I purposely have this up all year long to give a sense of christmas all year long--okay maybe a bit daft, but hey...why not

Wow, well, I take the tree down the day after New Years, it was in the corner of the yard near the bushes for about 2 months, closer to 3 to be honest. We put it out with the trash when we did yard spring cleaning. I love the wreath on my door so much I may just leave it there all year. Your little christmas reminder sounds so nice.

Yeah, It's 70 degrees out here and we still have some of our Christmas stuff out. I just noticed last night while we were all outside playing with the kids. We still have our animated light-up polar bear, our little fake light-up Christmas trees and a wreath out. Not to mention we still have some of our Christmas knick knacks up inside. That is my job for today, to take all that down and maybe put up some Easter stuff.

Have fun and enjoy making your home look like spring again! I love my christmas stuff and I have been keeping very busy, I think this is why some is still up.

Yes I am afraid so. Some forgot to get back in the box to be stored. Thanks for the reminder.
