Is a permanent account worth it?

I just upgraded to a paid account last month, and I'd like to know if a permanent account is worth it. I've been on LJ a year and I think I'll keep using it for a long time (no not under this name), maybe forever, but it's quite a bit of money for a one shot deal. What do you think?

I know that for some people its worth it, but when I once had a paid account I didn't think so. I don't really post a lot though I just like to watch other people's journals. But if you like to post a lot and love icons than maybe it will be good for you.

A permanent account will save you money in the long run if you plan to be on live journal for many years. Also, you'll have all of the benefits of a paid account like the extra user pics and the ability to have paid layouts.

I would say that if you love prettier layouts and posting polls and plan to use Livejournal for a long, long time, go with Permanant. Otherwise, just do a Paid Account.

I have a permanent account. I'm glad I got it. I never have to worry about being short again. Luckily, I had the money when the sale came up a couple of years ago.
