What's with the dead people's voices?

Okay, I thought it was weird to have that one lady who killed herself (what was her name?!) narrating the story. But then to have Bree's dead husband, Rex, suddenly jump in and start talking was kind of weird. I mean, why did Rex sudddenly come back, and what happened to Mary Alice (ah, remembered!)?
Why don't they just have some generic voice. I mean, who's next? That old lady that Paul killed? Alma?
It's just weird to me. What do you think?

I think it's kinda a neat idea...the 'all-seeing' from the great beyond, lol!
Mary Alice just took a break on the episode you're talking about. I think they wanted a man to narrate from the guys' point of view since it was focusing on the men that week.
Who knows, depending on the storylines to come, we could possibly hear the characters you talk about!

I agree. I read in TV Guide that they wanted a guys voice for that episode and they thought the character Rex would be perfect for it.
