The price for college text books are terrible. I have been in Business Management classes and just recently changed to Medical Management and have been able to use a few books over again but not many. If any one knows where I can find cheaper textbooks let me know

Amazon is usually a good bit cheaper than your college book store. Books really are terribly expensive, and it sucks that the university makes so much money off selling professors books, then buying them back at the end of the semester for 1/2 price then reselling them used at 3/4 price. They make money on books multiple times... Its really highway robbery.

That would work if I haqd a say so in the purchasing of my books but the school takes care of the books and has them delivered to us, before the classes. Thanks for the info.

Well there're "ways" to get you hands on books online for "free" ;-) Enough said.

When I was in med school, I never bought the complete set of books that were required of us.. Medical books are very, very expensive.. If we were required like 10 books for that year, I'd only buy 1 or 2 of them.. What I did was borrow my classmates' books and have them photocopied.. Well, not exactly from cover to cover, but just those pages we need to study.. Sometimes I'd also borrow books from the library.. And some, I'd get from the internet..
