Beautiful Place for a Vacation

I'm telling you that pictures do not do Hawaii justice. It is just too beautiful to describe. When we went there we stayed in a place just a five minute walk from Waikiki Beach. There were mountains that we could see from our room and you could see the ocean also. We took a tour that went completely around the island and it was great! The tour included seeing Pearl Harbor. That brought tears to my eyes. We got to go to the Dole Pineapple farm and eat pineapple ice cream which was a treat. If we ever get to go again I would like to go to the Polynesian show and also to a luau.

That is very true! The flowers were beautiful! The smell of the flowers was awesome! We had been told that it would be cool there with the breeze coming off the ocean but it wasn't while we were there. The temperature stayed around 80 during the day the whole time we were there.

You picture Hawaii more than any pictures. It makes me thinking about the beautiful of Hawaii. I've seen many times on television, I just think that Hawaii as beautiful as some islands in my country, Indonesia. The Islands, the beach, the mountains, the jungles and of course the food. And of course you could see the garden in the sea. But, when you describe about Hawaii, I think I should see it comparing with my beautiful country and praise the Lord for the beauty of His creation all over the world.

Hawaii sounds like a wonderful place to visit. My sister used to talk about wanting to go there on vacation. I moved two years ago here to Nicaragua which is a tropical place similar to Hawaii, it is just not as developed and not on the main beaten path. We have a farm in the country where we planted about 8000 pineapple plants and it has been fun to watch them grow from small plants to maturity. They are now beginning to grow pineapples and I can hardly wait for them to get big so we can harvest them. Pineapples sell very cheaply in this country so we won't be getting rich from them. Pineapple ice cream sounds really great. I will have to find some recipes for pineapple ice cream.

Hawaii really is beautiful. The beaches are great, the flowers are pretty. I also got to see the Polynesian show and I kept the shell necklace I got from the show. I would definitely love to go to Hawaii again.
