why are most guys afraid or unable to show how they really feel?

i have noticed that guys tend to be so secretive about how they really feel. i have heard people complain about females saying one thing and meaning another, but what people often missed to discuss is how guys tend to bottle up their thoughts and emotions to themselves especially when it comes to their personal problems. gurls simply talk about theirs all day and they feel a lot better after that. guys simply don't. im wondrin why and i'm having this hunch that they might not know how or are worried that others might see them as weak individuals. guys..enlighten me...

Hi there Hazel,
Well we're not really afraid or even unable to show, to express what we really feels alright?
It just like, we don't want other people specially girls to see our emotions coz it would be a bad scenario for us (boys)
for some instances, coz not all the people are being understanding or what so ever so we tend to keep our feelings in ourselves instead of expressing it.
But yeah you dont have to worry about it if we're like that coz its our nature baby and we're fine!

.. to me its just a vulnerablity thing.Showing too much of his emotions will make him look weak and timid.Yes i know its only human to feel these things but for some reason the guy always has to be the macho one right !
All we expect from the girl is a sweet smile , hug n a kiss and for them to say "what ever is bothering you,don't worry about it , its goinna be alright !" :D
