more than 7 months ago i first set foot in the unites states. i am doing well now, but still extremely missing my boyfriend, my friends and other siblings. the last 7 months has been officially the worst 7 months of my life. everyday i wake up thinking about me going back to my country. but it's just not possible this time. i badly need help... the depression is just killing me and it did change me in some ways rather negatively. how do i deal with this?

Well i haven't tried to get away from family that far yet but i have a lot of friends who's actually dealing with that kind of thing until now. According to them, having friends in the other place could really help them a lot to you know, forget about their homesickness for once in awhile, then get bond with the other Filipinos so they wont really miss the Philippines or something like that. I just remember that we've been talking about this before right? hehe But im glad that you doing good there. Just dont think about the homesick thing that much. It will drive you crazy sige ka? hehe Keep in touch!

ok, hera are some tips from my experience.. lol.. first thing that you've got to do is to make some real good friends, a good company of friends who goes out, hang out, have some fun, so that you will experience the good side of being their in the united states. that is what i did here, i am living on my own, i havent seen my family for a year now, but i had stablished a good friends that makes me happy, makes me forget that i miss someone so important to me. so i hope my tips will work out just fine on you. good luck!

ive been there before and its 2years its hard to fight homesickness but thinking of why im far from my love ones it gives me courage. if you make yourself busy you cant never see how past the time goes by. or you can go out with your new friends there they will help a lot.
