Do you know of any free anti-spyware?

I am using windows XP and I am looking for good and free anti-spywares that I can use along with an anti-virus. I know that an anti-virus is not enough to protect your computer especially when we surf a lot on the internet. Do you know of any good anti-spyware that is safe and deletes most of the spyware we can get on the internet? Thank you for your time.

Well all free anti-spy wares as mentioned all my friends are good and popular. Being an XP user, I personally use Dr Alex free anti spyware along with Zone lab security suite which is included with anti-virus as well as anti-spyware. They are giving better performance for my PC.

try new spyware terminator it's a freeware and it updates daily also it has a clam antivirus , it has one of the best realtime shields i have seen till date, if you use it in advanced mode , the system files can only be modified when you agree to do so, so it beats most of the spywares from slowing down computer

The best anti-spyware is Spybot, Search & Destroy, hands down. It is best used in conjunction with Spyware Blaster, which will actually help prevent spyware from getting on your computer. Both can be downloaded by going to download.com and using the search box on the site. That way you can be assured you are getting the latest release.
