My life was made worse by having credit. It is ready money for anything. I recomend never actually carrying the card. It is to tempting to use. Do actually use it once a month though for gas or something just to keep it active. I don't know what you got the card for but I do know it is easy to max it out in one shopping spree. I don't use them anymore. I am in too much debt from using the old ones. I pay for everything with debt/mastercard now. If I don't have the money, I don't buy it.

For an annual fee, companies will notify the issuers of your credit card and your ATM or debit card accounts if your card is lost or stolen. This service allows you to make only one phone call to report all card losses rather than calling individual issuers. Most services also will request replacement cards on your behalf.
