Why Sanjaya still on the block?

I like Lakisya and Melinda too... they're great! Why's Sanjaya still there? and Sundance was out instead of him? I don't believe this..

I had a shock of my life today when Sanjaya performed. His performance was the weakest. With that weird hairdo, I wonder whether he can survive another week.

ooppsss... are we malaysian crazy of this AI? well.. i must admit that I am :D I feel for steph when she was booted out... that was inappropriate... sanjaya has to be eliminated this week, by hook or by crook. And I sincerely hope Melinda or Lakisha would be in the final... they are just superb.

oh yeah..i don't like the way sanjaya sings... some voters are really wasting their money

I'm not surprised that Sanjaya is still there. Every year there is a young contestant that does bad and you really want to go home, but they end up staying while a lot of your favorites get kicked off. I heard there was even a group of people that are tired of American idol and are voting for him to prove a point. They are trying to take Sanjaya to the end. Personally I want to see him or Hailey go there are much better people there.

i don't know if this s true but i read from one of the forums around that aside from the sympathy votes, telemarketers from india use some of their air time to call the AI voting hotline and vote for Sanjaya. That might jst be true since numbers use by telemarketers to call US residents are basically US numbers. Whether the above is true or not, Sanjaya sucks in terms of performance. He was good during the audition but since the start of top 24, he consistenly performed horribly. He lost the spark I saw in him. He's a nightmare in this batch. Much more deserving singers should be in his post. She should be booted soon. America, VOTE FOR THOSE WITH EXCEPTIONAL TALENT! This is a singing competition anyway!

Poor Sanjaya. All the negative comments from the judges and negative press have caused people to cast sympathy votes for him. He shows up on the website "Vote for the Worst" each week too, and all the news shows talk about him and no one else on the show.

Hey I'm from Malaysia too. I wonder why Sanjaya is still running strong too. However, he did much better last week with a more upbeat song. Maybe that's why he's still in. The crying little girl did help too I guess, it make him seems like an idol.
