I'm in need to make some quick money so I can afford to move! I'm thinking of taking a chance and investing in a HYIP..I've been hearing about Please-invest, so I'm thinking of maybe that one..but I'm wondering if it's a good idea to get involved with this sort of thing. I know its gambling and I'll have to be careful and not get greedy and all that.. I was just wondering about people's experiences with these programs..how much have you lost? have ya ever been burned by a scam? what are you investing in now? what is the most you invest on average? how much have you made, etc. So..what's the deal??

OK, Suze, here's my humble opinion:
- You should NEVER look for take-money-and-run kind of sites.
Yes, please-invest.com works fine for me so far (I am close to reach the amount I invested), but who knows for how long?
Some other HYIPs that I'm member of are hallbank.com, blue-people.net, cambistex.com; there was a good HYIP that everybody was talking about troybank.com, but as I entered, I lost money the next day - it went down.
Those HYIPs are risky business. You should join early to GET A CHANCE to earn. That doesn't mean you actually will. What if admin is a scammer and he runs away so fast before you get your 1st payment? Always check out what other people think of that HYIP and its admin.
Here's one good reliable site that reviews HYIPs: http://hywd.info
My suggestion is put your money on "slow but stubborn horses" - the ones that don't bring you much, but are more reliable in the long term: for example rtaonlineinvestment.com, cambistex.com...
And diversify! Put your money in several programs instead of one.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info! I know its a gamble and I risk them taking my money and running...which is why i'm taking the time to check into different ones and trying to ask people which ones they are into and happy with so far..that seem stable for the moment. I'm looking around and seeing what's out there for the moment! : O))

I suggest you to stay away from HYIP. Almost all of them are scams, and you will find yourself loosing money very quickly. I have a great site that will pay you daily until you will reach 150% from your deposit. If you spend 1$, you will earn 1.5$. Here is a link: http://www.lighthalzen.biz/?ref=ILANEDRI
And if you still haven't register to Please-Invest, here is a link to it as well: http://www.please-invest.com/?ref=SOPHG58
These sites are very strong, and will pay you. Good luck !

I'm just looking for something i can dump a little money for a week or two and then pull it out...and just hope they don't go belly up before I get a chance to pull out LOL

Suze,
I am currently investing in Please-invest and it is until now paying. But the thing with HYIP is, it will almost always end up a PONZI, sooner or later.
YOu can get into HYIP to get extra money. But do not use what you already have to help you move. That would be disasterous. You can make a few extra dollars in HYIP if you follow this rules
1. DO NOT ever invest the money that you could not afford to lose
2. PAST PERFORMANCE is never to be used as indication of future performance. The HYIP that is paying perfectly might close shop the next minute. IT happens.
3. You have to enter HYIP with complete detachment from your money emotionally. You have to expect that you might lose all that money before you even enter.
I have write a few article on HYIP risk on my blog www.thehyipguy.blogspot.com Do check it out.
So, if you want to raise money to help you move, I would suggest look for something offline.
Or try www.robinhoodfund.com MAke your wish there and let people vote. If you receive enough vote your wish will be granted. Make a wish and announce here. I will vote for u :)

hEY sUZE,
California Cash has stopped payment as of today (See what I mean by Past performance?) Lucky for me, I stopped when I saw the tell tale sign of the collapse. So I got out with small profit.
Secret Invest paid for me every time, but they changed their plan from 115% everyday to 120% after one week. I stopped investing. So, I don't know weather they still pay.
I would suggest Invtex for now :)
Hey I will vote for you when your wish comes out :)

I personally would say not to get involved with these HYIP's. I have tried to make money with these type programs and have been scammed out of every cent I invested. Another thing to consider.....they can keystroke your password to your e-gold account and withdraw funds. That happened to me...they took everything... This is just my experience...I do not invest online anymore..no way, no how! Good luck in your ventures.

Hello Suze,
Needing money quickly makes you a willing prey for schemes that are after your money instesd of paying you... You should always think carefully before you invest in whatever you are going to invest in. I know, I have been there, done that and lost a lot. I am wiser now...;-)
Somebody already mentioned Please-Invest as a paying site. It does, I can confirm. Another paying HYIP is EGeneration. It pays you 3 times a month and you can either withdraw the money or reinvest it (to make more money) Here is my link (I am a happy EGeneration member!):

Happy earnings, and remember, deciding in haste is never a good thing!

no clue what HYIP is
you are asking exactly the right osrts of questions though
if you are a kid, you are gonna be very rich
make really sure that your investments (gambles) have the odds in your favor
do the math on $1000 at 14% for 50 years, just for practice

Please listen carefully.
There is no easy or short way to make money even on internet.
I understand you need it fast but all the fast money making eventually wont make but you will loose.

like most peoples said here, don't get involve in HYIP for the main source to get some money. it'll more safe if you put your "extra money" on HYIP. if you don't have an extra maoney better forget HYIP. what they offering is really makes us think this is the best and the fastest way to get some money. but then there is a complicated way and problems.
you know, in my country there are lot of this kinda business, compare with dollars our currency is just cheaper and lower. but still there are big...big scams. I was always tempted to get involve in HYIP, but think rasionally again, I take back my will.
unless you have a big guts to risk all of your money, better keep away from HYIP.
