win98 set up

but i doesn't now the first step : how hard drive is formated , how booting into dos , how changes should made in BIOS ,how to start DOS and what commands should me given to start win98setup. remember win98setup is saved in my computer in E drive . tell me what changes should made in BIOS as setup is saved im my computer . plz tell me in step by step

OK i try.... 1. turn on computer and press del into your bios, load default setting for your computer. 2. set what drive you want to booting. if you are sellect booting from floopy disk you have to download dos booting file first in here http://www.bootdisk.com/ 3. once you done made bootdisk put that disk into your floopy and reboot the computer 4. you will taken to dos prompt now. check drive you want to install win 98 Ex: in drive c format that drive first 5. type FDISK /MBR hit enter (this destroys the master boot record and re-creates it. You should not see anything on the screen.) 6. after you format drive for installed windows. go to your windows installer folder. type setup to run win98 installation. 6. follow all instruction on there. you will need to put serial number. if you meet the problem just reply in here

your hd is already partitioned and you already copy your win98 setup in your drive e, so i assume that your drive c is already formatted and ready for installation. now go to your drive e and run win98 setup by typing setup just after the letter drive e. then follow the pop-up instractions that will appear. good luck. greetings. : )

hello my problem still not saved. i told you manu times that win98 setup is already saved in my computer. now tell me how the steps how i can install windows 98 ( from the first step to last ) . currently i instaled win 98 but now it has has problem. please resolve my matter in the easiest way . from first step to last step and also tell me how can i enter into DOS
