what is your favorite childhood memory?

My childhood was by far perfect, i ended up raising not only myself, but my mother as well i have spent lots of my life learning to survive rather than learning to be a child. But all the same that is my favorite childhood memory and it keeps me going everyday. i have children of my own now and raising myself has tought me how to be the parent i am today and i dont resent any part of my past because i belive things happen for a reason and those things make us who we are today!

There isn't much to share when it comes to my childhood memory as I grew up envying my brother all the time...you see my brother was the favorite of my parents and I'd always end up being compared to him...nonetheless I think I would consider this as my favorite childhood memory because if they never treated me that way then I wouldn't be who and what I am today...

i couldnt agree with you more parents tend to play favorites mine did. i have two children and plan on being totally equal

My favourite childhood memory was when I was 5 and my dads band was practicing in the basement. I had these toy drums and I hung out with the band playing with them!

I always say my life was the "Beaver Clever life".(for those of you in your 40's and up,you know what I mean,LOL)I had a wonderful childhood and so many wonderful memories.Then everything changed when I turned into a teen.LOL.

First of all I want to say that I'm very sorry about your childhood :(, but I'm glad to see that you are not letting it get in the way of your parenting!! Cool! As for my favorite memory, it must have been the time when my mother made a treasure map for me. I have memories of digging up a spot next to the garage...it was so exciting. The funny part is that I have no memory of what the treasure was...lol.

As a child i had to go through alot, parents where working 2-3 jobs and we were always really stretched for cash those days were the hardest for us, my gf who was also my neighbour at the time, i remember i used to sit outside near the front door and we were both around 11-12 i think at the time, well some things were said and talked about but to make a long story short that day will always stick in mind since it was the day i got my first kiss lol...i'm 22 now and with that same girl i guess whenever i look at her i remember that day...its a nice feeling.
