How to improve my English?

I'm a Chinese college student ,I'm in grade one.
My English is so so all the time,but 3 months late I'll have the CET-4 examination,I want to improve my English ,especially the spoken English,then I join in this website,I hope I can improve my English through talk with English speaking people.
I'm excited in you from different countries.
Help me!

Participating in different topics here is really a big help to improve your english language. I'm not really good in english but through chatting and exchanging some opinions with others who are good in english make my english much better. I suggest you to read english books or novels to improve your language more. Keep posting and read other discussions here it will surely help. Goodluck my friend!

Thank you for your response,yes,I think my English will improve fast if I persist in chatting and exchanging opinons with others,I have the confidence,and I will spend more time in English.

My oral and written English got a boost from reading "Common mistakes in English" by Fitikides. I'm sure the book will help you, too. Try it along the other efforts. Good luck.
