Does it have eye lids? And where do you live? In florida somewhere?
I caught one down in cocoa beach fl. thats where i live right now. It looks a whole lot like your little lizard, i have been calling it a gecko. It gets soo pale it looks transparent, and then it turns really dark brown. I have been feeding it crickets, it can climb on just about anything, glass, plastic and even the walls.

I don't know what type of lizard he is but he sure is cute? I know this was posted three weeks ago but do you still have him? Or was he even a pet? I have a friend who lives in FL and she goes out and catches them so she can keep them as pets, right now she is up to three and she's trying to find out exactly what type of lizard they are.

Ok he is a Golden Gecko. They are not mean just scared. If it was me I would catch him and keep him. They eat crickets. Or catch it and take it to a pet store.

Looks like you've got yourself a gecko, right off the top of my head...possibly a tokay gecko. Depends on the size. Generally tokays are anti-social and will bite if you try to grab 'em. Most the time they will hide and they're not gonna bite you unless you go chasing them and corner them. He's probably doing you a service though, and eating any bugs that may have gotten into your house. :D

yes it is not harmful but i would not like it as a pet as i hate reptiles and we get it in plenty here,so no need to make it a pet and it is true that it eats insects

I'm not sure for an english word for that animal but in Indonesia we call them CICAK maybe you can transelate it into a small lizard. It usually has brown colour and four legs and always crawl on your ceiling. and they eat mosquito I think. Am I right..? Anybody else has better explaination???

It is the common house gecko. House geckos are largely insectivores, but adults will consume spiders and other invertebrates, and occasionally juvenile geckos as well. They are strongly territorial and can be quite vocal at night, making a series of crisp, rapid chirps. They may make a squeaking noise when captured. Common House Geckos are believed to have arrived in Hawaii during or just after World War II. Since then it has become the most common lizard around house lights at night. Females lay hard-shelled, non-adhesive eggs in pairs under bark, in tree holes, palm fronds or other protected above-ground sites.

It is a gecko. Geckos are similar to lizards, but have webbed feet.
