Yesterday evening, my son and I went over my neighbor house and she was making some deviled eggs for church today. My son had asked us why are they called deviled eggs, between us both we couldn't come up with a answer, nor come to some kind of conclusion where it orginated from.
Then we started thinking, well you got Devil Cake and Deviled Ham. Still I'm at a lost, Now I'm even curious myself.
So to anyone that know anything about Deviled foods, please shed some light for me please. Do anyone know why there are Deviled Eggs, Cake, Ham even? Do you like any of those dishes? Do you know of anymore Devil foods?

lol Nice question! It's called deviled because we add a lot of hot items to it like hot sauce, garlic, etc.Makes it look so yummy, lol.I love them. They look better than they taste ,lol.I think whenever my friends have a party they always have some of those and we love to fight over it :-P.

From what I hear they are, I don't particularly care for them. My mom always say, it really depends on how they make them. Some people do their differently.
