How do you find the TRUTH? Can you handle the TRUTH?

everyone when they felt slighted would always normally felt back the urge or necessity to find the "truth" or is it really? likewise for any problem or the lack of it would also solicit the same reaction. but we all know that our society, any soicety for that fact & even progress itself is built on the foundations of truths & the lack of it. would truth as it suffices enough? many a times its not as it seems - revenge is far more satisfying than truth, is it? vengeance is always the outspring of truth.
Whats your take?

theres been a lot sayings about "truth"...some says truth hurts and that truth will set you free. whatever it means to them, for me, there is nothing more safest than to tell the truth. ^^

for whats the purpose of truth now? :-) when one is faced about the truth, how should one go about it?
