cause i have kids that love to fish i like for us to be able to camp right next to the water. this way i can see them while they are fishing if i want a break. really its during cooking time sicne i dont take a break unless i have to. i also like there not to be people real close to me. alot of people need to drink to fish and we dont do that.

Thunder Bay - There are some wonderful areas to camp around Thunder Bay. This is the view from one of the campgrounds where we went last summer. Isn't it beautiful? There are so many other campgrounds with beautiful waters just like these. Michigan has lots of beautiful scenery. Why not take your family camping in Michigan? You won't be sorry.
The perfect campsite for us is by the water. We want to be able to enjoy swimming and fishing. Fresh water is definitely a plus. It must have a fire pit. A picnic table is great. I also like to have fresh water available nearby. Clean bathroom facilities are always nice too. I do not mind seeing other campers across the lake or river, but I do not want to hear a lot of noise from them. I would like to be able to access this site by either car or boat. If I'm lucky, I might also find a view like the one I've posted here from a campground we were at last summer. I may be asking a lot, but you did ask for the perfect campsite.

We will be going on our first camping trip of the year this weekend. I was planning on going with some friends last weekend, but one of them got sick so that trip got postponed. Anyway, for this trip we will be visiting a music festival, so we won't have much peace and quite, but we will have fun anyway. We go there every year, and we always get the furthest out rustic site we can find when we go camping there. Thanks for the best response.

It needs to be secluded, and fairly clear of brush. Needs to be shady with a gentle breeze. close to some source of water is also a must and a good fire pit can come in handy too.

I so agree on the firepit! The campfire is one of the best parts of camping. :-) We have actually rebuilt a few in our many camping experiences.

My perfect camp site is far away from other people, right on the water, on a private beach. Which is why we like boat-in camping. :-)

I like a nice quiet grassy spot near water where I can have my dog. It's terrible around here because the campgrounds that allow dogs don't have bodies of water, and the ones that have water don't allow dogs (or tents). My boyfriend and I are thinking we should go hiking this year just to find the perfect campsite.

We have a boat so we go to a local lake to camp. At almost all the campsites you can see the lake. We can just sit at our campsite and watch the boats and people when we are not out in our boat. Also we can swim at our campsite too. We can have campfires too at this one.
