why only diamond's are the best friend of girl's why not any thing else????????

It depends on the girl. I have no particular attachment to diamonds (besides the fact that it's my birthstone). Granted, I'm not a big jewelry fan period. I would rather have something useful that I could actually use. I can understand where some girls are coming from, though. For example, my boyfriend and I just celebrated our one year anniversary, and I was deciding between two things for a gift: a ring or a harddrive for my laptop. Which sounds more romantic and sweet? The ring would be a lot more impressive when saying, "Look what my boyfriend got me!"

is it only daimonds??? i feel girls love a lot many things then diamonds... but yeah..daimonds are girls best frnd probably cos they dont reply back and are stones who would just remain close to their heart and still not complain unlike guys!!!!!

Diamonds are okay. Yes, they're beautiful, but they're not the be-all, end-all that people make them out to be. They're a valuable sparkly rock. Big deal. I have a diamond ring and I keep it in my jewelry box because the ring doesn't fit anymore since I lost weight and I don't want to lose it. I think emeralds are prettier though. Sapphire are gorgeous. But I prefer experiences over objects because that's what I'll have to look back on when I'm old and that ring is gathering dust. I'd much rather have my husband accompany me to a concert or to take me to see Les Miserables. He bought me a cello so I could keep playing after we got together. I'd love to go boating with him on the ocean and try snorkling together. These memories would mean a lot more to me than any rock he might give me.

I am a woman, I personally, do not like jewlery. I just am not that type of girl, so maybe I am not the best person to answer this question. I often wonder that too. Some women just like jewelry I guess.

Only diamond companies see you the idea that a diamond is a girl's best friend. Try a brand new or popular perfume, a meaningful picture or if it has to be jewlery then get her a semi precious stone.

depends on the girl I guess. I personally like gem stones, sometimes they are so pretty we can use as jewelry but I also like the uncut ones, pure natural gemstones I mean. Diamonds are expensive of course if we can afford it I will collect them too ! The only one as precious as natural gemstones to me are my husband, my pet and my best friend. Anything happens to these three, I think I would go berserk

Maybe because its the most precious of the stones and if you get it as a gift it shows that you are as precious as the diamond is!
