Who do u think should be the next captain for India & y??

I think it should be Yuvraj Singh or Dhoni keeping in mind that we need young players thinking of the next world cup . I would finalise on Dhoni as captain because he has cemented his place in the side and Yuvraj would be the Vice Captain for me . As both are attacking cricketers it will lead to an attitude overhaul of the team . To win consistentently we need someone like Dhoni and Yuvraj who help spark that nerve of aggression in the rest of the team .

i think its yovraj or dhoni cause these two are good players and have some ability for this job.

I feel that Ganguly should be made the captain. I feel that he has much better captaincy qualities when compared to Dravid. He has better descion talking skills in pressurised sitation. The vice captain can either be Sachin or Dravid. Even though Ganguly was not in the team for the past one and half years he was the one who played sensibly in the World CUP. So I feel Ganguly should be made the captain of the Indain team till he retires.

yes mam its true that dhoni or yuvraj may b the captain for india. but i think if Dinesh Kartik will fix his place in team than after 2 or 3 year of we can say for next world cup ,he will b the captain.(if dravid will not)...

May be he will be out.In my sense the BCCI may give back captaincy to Ganguly and a few changes may come in the Indian side.

dravid to resign as a captain...but i appreciate him for his work as a captain..he played well and he did well as a captain.he is the only batsman to score in the match against srilanka in the world cup2007.but he have to resign his captaincy...there are so many choices for the selectors.but my choice is our former captain SOURAV GANGULY..he did well as a captain for our team..india won many matches when he was captain for our team..due to his lack of consistency,he was quitted from the team...but he is in good form,so that our BCCI can appoint ganguly as our captain..yuvraj,sehwag are also other choices...but ganguly is more experienced as a cricket player and also as a captain..my wish is also to be..but who knows wat'll happen..!!

Its going to be Dravid who is going to be the captain once again. Its not at all his fault that Indian dint enter super eight. The team dint perform well and were not able to enter the Super eight. And I guess, Dhoni is not the right person for captaincy. He is inexperinced and top of it he is also not in form. As per the latest news from Kiran, Dravid will continue to be the captain and there is no change in it.

Captaincy doesn't look Dravid's cup of tea. I think the only man today who can lead the Indian side well is Sourav Ganguly. He has everything that a captain, a leader needs to have- agression, command etc. Yuvraj Sing can also be a good choice if Indian selectors dont have any problem with giving the command of Indian team in a young hand!

Thats again a very nice topic... According to me, Yuvraj Singh is likely to be the future captain of the Indian team.. Coz the reason behind this i hve noticed is that, Sourav Ganguly was once asked in an interview that whether he would be still ready to be the captain of the Indian team.. At that time, he said no... So obviously the next aggressive and the most consistent player in our team is Yuvraj Singh... But still everyone is doubtful about his captaincy skills.. But still i believe that DADA(Sourav) will accept the challenge and will again become the captain of our team for a few months.. Afterwards it would be Yuvraj..

I feel Yuvraj Singh should be made the new captain of india as its time someone with fresh thoughts and new ideas also with a bold outlook should take over! someone who does not fear defeat and is willing to take on anyone!

Since now Dravid will remain Captain till World Cup. After Dravid Yuvraj Singh should be next Captain for India. He has that talent and will power to win for India. His performance is well against all other player. He played well in all three matches.

prsent in team only one has the ability to have captency that is Dravid. if BCCI thinks to remove his position the chance wil go to Ganguly obeously.

well i think the come back king should be the next captain.he was undoubtedly one of the best captains of the Indian team and one of the best India has ever had.he is a really agressive captain and is more expressive towards his colleagues.but the speculation is that Sachin will be made the captain adn Yuvraj singh the vice captain.lets hope for the best.as long as the Indian team performs i dont mind.we all want our team to win isnt it.we have all the talent.we just need to use it.

No 1 can handle dat much amount of pressure except d Sher & d only trustworthy player in out team....,,,, I m talking bout YUVRAJ! He not only should but must b d 1 & moreover, +@*% off dat CHAPALL & bring on a comfortable SHOE 4 urself! Dis could only help dese models 2 play well!

:) There can hardly be a correct prediction.Our guesstimate might match with the captain chosen ,but whether he can steer the ship through stormy seas remains to be seen.Dravid still is valuable as a player.Perhaps Sourav brought out the best from his boys and has a great power to motivate and now that he has realised he needs to perform to stay in the team ,he might be reinstated,but considering his cricketing age ,it migth not be a long time solution.My choice will be Yuvraj,with the future of the cricket in mind.He'd have the experience of Sourav,Rahul and Sachin to guide him and the leader in him won't allow him to sulk in critical situations,rather it will shine with additional responsibility.Of course it's not possible to be invincible ,but he could be the right kind of leader.A good captain isn't enough.As long as the domestic platform to harness talents doesn't improve by lessening the number of teams that can qualify for rangi and other national trophies ,we will need help from outside.If the domestic structure is revised ,then a good captain can be a consistent match winner with responsible and talented cricketers.
