Officially known as 'Air Force Flight Test Center, Detachment 3', that mysteriously top secret and remote strip of land in southwestern Nevada. It is owned by the U.S. Dept. of Defense and the U.S. Air Force..It's primary purpose is believed to be the operation and analysis of enemy aircraft and weapons systems, secret development and testing of new military aircraft..It has notoriously been the subject of UFO conspiracy theories..
Do you believe it's tight and top secret security is due to weapons development and testing of which ONLY~?
Could there really possibly be something 'Alien' hidden there~?
What do you Honestly think~??

What I honestly think is that the Groom Lake facility IS (or rather, WAS) a top secret miltary installation, ideally suited for testing experimental craft because of its remote location. I think it is POSSIBLE that something of extraterrestial origin exists there, but I also believe the impact of it has been blown WAY out of proportion by people in pursuit of "government conspiracies" and UFOs. I also believe the military has "played up" the mystery to divert attention from other sites that are actually MORE sensitive.
It's my understanding that many of the activities that used to take place at Area 51 were moved to an undisclosed location in Utah, about the same time as a number of web services started introducing "satellite mapping" for the general public. After all, what good is a "secret" installation when Joe Schmoe can pull up a landsat image with enough detail to show people walking around the facility?

Agreed...What did it for me was when my friends's mother, who had worked for the Government earlier in her life, told my friend after she asked about area 51 that all she could say was "I would not say i disbelieve in regards to what you are asking". Being sworn to secrecy, she could not elaborate any further..Since then, i've not been able to shake the idea from my mind~

It is likely that sensitive secrets are being kept there. But with all the attention that place is getting, it would be unwise to conduct top secret tests of new military inventions there for every UFO enthusiast to spy. It's always intriguing to talk about aliens, but if they really have been kept there, you'd have to ask why they haven't revealed them to the public. If the US government knows life elsewhere in the universe exists, more research and funding would probably be channelled to space science and perhaps there will be more focused studies on a particular site in space where the "aliens" should have come from. Also, if "alien" technology has been used by the military, perhaps these should already have been used to gain an advantage in the past and current wars.
