"You made the right choice..."

The idealistic answer should be the poor family that loves and respect each other. However, from a practical viewpoint, I'd rather be rich. It doesn't really matter if I get along with my family members, if I'm financially well-off to live somewhere on my own, without having to deal with their squabblings. With money, I can be independent and live my own life. It is easy not to be too involved with family anyway. Right now, I live away from all family members and I do not have a problem with it. So, mean and mercenary it may sound, i'll take the rich, dsyfunctional family over the poor, loving, respectful family any day.
