In our day and age, do you think it is a necessity to go to college?

World is full of competition these days. In order for us to struggle and survive, getting a college degree is one way. We could get through from poverty if work hard. And to get a decent job with a pay more than the miminum, it's a must to get a college degree. Others even get a masteral or doctorate degree to get into a higher position. So why settle for less if you can achieve high?

I'd have to agree with that. It seems like apathy is on the rise these days, and no one wants to know what's really going on in the world. It's hard to get real information these days too, I think the internet is a part of that. (Thank heavens I know so many librarians, where would we be without them?) But the question of "What do you do with a BA in English" still exists, so I don't know that we're at a complete impasse yet.

I think that nowadays it is very important to go to college. This is the only way to have a better futur, job, money. The problem is that no all of us have realize that and most people seem that they do not care about it. Ok, for a child it is very difficult to understand the importance of the education, but what about his parents? They don't care or simply they can neither understant how important it is? Most of them they do not realize and they don't want to force their children to study. there is also an other category of parents and children that they do not care because they don't need to. They have a lot of momey and wealth and they think they can live without education. Maybe they are right, but how maany of us have no money problems?Unfortunatelly very few, so go to college is necessary for us.

when we are building up in our initial stages its necessary for us to go to college as we start building up our career from there it self.but when it some to higher studies everyhting will be in our hands as thats the moment to implement things what we got in our mind.then an ordinay man will become an perfect man.
