Many gamble (thats why the casinos are making money). To what extent one can control their itch while gambling ? If you keep loosing you would always feel that next penny might take you up or if you are winning obviously you would want to win more. Is gambling an addiction ? I feel it is the most dangerous addiction. I have seen people loosing everything overnight. There are people who gamble every day but witha definet amount of money. How addictive is gambling ?

I like to gamble, but it's all about moderation.
First, I don't gamble t try and win money. I gamble to have a little fun... nothing more. If I win, then it's great. If I lose, then at least I moderated my amount and lost what I could afford to lose. I never go above that number, that's one of the most important rules.
Also, I don't like chasing losses. If I've lost, then that's it. I don't double up trying to regain what I've lost. Forget it, I'm licking my wounds and going home. I have won $1200 but it was at a poker table... however, when I lost $50 bucks, I am not happy at all. In fact, I tend to walk away instead of working to regain anything.
That kinda keeps me in check enough to not have big losses.

Right. As far as you know what you are doing its ok. But many think that they know what they are doing not actually aware that they are going out of their control
Thanks
Cheers!!
