What code do you live by?

Mine goes something like this:
0. "Remember yourself always and everywhere" ~Gurdjieff
1. Above all else do no harm unless it is out of self-defense.
1A. Live the Zen like by arts of War so that when you defend yourself you can minimize the amount of harm you cause to another person while still effectively defending yourself. This is like in Judo and Aikido were you can effectively end a fight without being harmed yourself while harming your opponent the bare minimum necessary to end the fight.
1B. Do unto others as I want them to do unto me, and treat myself as I want others to treat me. Because how we treat ourselves is often how we treat ourselves, which brings me to:
1C. Love myself and love everything that breaths as I love myself.
2. Never stop working to improve my ability to do the things that are good for myself and for others. This includes being able to love myself and others more.
2A. If I am going to be it, or do it do my very best to master it. This includes if I am going to be alive I do my very best be a master of living itself i.e. to live life to the fullest, to be fully here in the present, and to always be aware.
2B. Remember that you could die at any moment and so you must live to the fullest.
2C. Always keep your promises esp. to yourself. Start nothing you don't plan on finishing and never ever be lazy.
2D. Always seek to exceed limitations.
3. Be honest with myself, always.
3A. Know myself totally.
4. Don't take anything personal, and minimize all unpleasant emotional reactions.
5. Make no assumptions, get rid of all unnecessary belief, and test and question over and over every belief you do keep.
6. Always clean up after yourself both on the physical plain and the psychological plain. This means don't go to bed at night mad at your family, friends, neighbors, or enemies. And Waste nothing.
7. Information sharing is a great thing and should be facilitated every chance you get. Information unlike money grows in value the more of it that is freely distributed to more people. This is because the more information you share the more of it will be created. The more information that is created and shared the greater
7A. Always work to improve your ability to communicate with everyone.
8. Value actual ability over credentials, names, and titles. Show me the proof you can do it and be it, other wise get out.
9. Promote decentralized systems over centralized, hierarchically authoritarian ways.
10. Give without expecting or trying to get anything in return. Always try to give as much as you get or take and always try to give more and more. This is an argument for spiritual, psychological, as well as material wealth, as the more you have the more you can give.
11. Don't be afraid to temporarily sacrifice your own well being to benefit the well being of another. But, never permanently or for prolonged periods of time sacrifice your own well being because if you do not go back to being well then how can you have the health and strength to help another, but if you regain your strength you can continue to help people.
12. See life as a great, and awe inspiring mystery that you may never fully solve, but which you must devote yourself to enjoying the process of working to solve it with every breath you have.
I don't always succeed in sticking to this, but I always get back on the horse and go at it again.
And, in many ways the list can be shortened as often living by one of the codes to the point of mastering my ability in that area will lead to me to unintentionally living up to other codes in the list.
I could go on because I be the list goes on for along time, but I'll settle with that for now.
What about you folks, what code do you aim to live by?

Surf, you really are hard on yourself. I don't think that I could remain in your company too long at one time.
It's imposssible to keep all of your promises; at least for me. Because sometimes I make promises before I consult my Father God about it and then when I do consult Him about it He mignt tell me not to do it. So I'm going to follow His advice regardless as to who I've made the promise to.
And the code that I live by is to Love God with all my heart and all my mind and all my strength. And two; to love my neighbor as I love myself. And three; to do undo others as I would like them to do unto me.
That fulfills all the law and the prophets.

Your list is long. My list is much shorter than yours. My aims are basically these; Don't treat anyone in a way that you wouldn't want to be treated. Be honest with yourself and others. Treat yourself and others with respect. Stand up for what is right. Admit your mistakes, and apologize for your wrongdoings.

Most of the codes are fulfilled without me trying to so long as I stay within what I call the "flow" or the "Presence". We enter this flow when in deep meditation and if we can stay in that place through our whole day everyday, then that state drives us to fulfill all the other codes. I just broke it down into all the details for conversations sake.
You could say the "flow" is the "Tao" spoken of in the Tao Te Ching.

Mine is much simpler. Don't do anything to someone else that you wouldn't want done to you. and don't lie because you get punished more for lieing. That last is from my mom who never really punished us for doing something but really went hard on us for lieing about it

I like your code it is simple but to the point.
I have noticed to how people get themselves in trouble for lying.

i live by the "Old Code"
.
A knight is sworn to valor
His heart knows only virtue
His blade defends the helpless
His might upholds the weak
His words speak only truth
His wrath undoes the wicked
