The song by eric clapton inspired me to start this discussion. Many things has changed since the sorrowful day of sept.11 and that day will forever mark a significant start to a new chapter to world history. Violence, poverty, hunger, and terrorism, etc. is emminent and is a threat to the very existence of humanity today. Given the chance to change history, what would you change in order to make a difference and hopefully change the world as we see it today?

Go back to the basic. When man is consciencious. When man is still humane, When man has no religion but believe in the Divine Providence. I know you will agree that differences in religion made mankind divided. That is a fact. Take the case of Hitler when he ordered all Jews to be killed. However in going back to the basic, technology must be retained. No Nukes, No weapons of war. We should accept that technology made our lives easier but let us use it for progress and not for destruction. If only all people can live without jealousy, pretenses and greed, what a wonderful world to live.

Nice thought...
Has technology missed its point in making our lives simpplier? Has men overlloked the fact that we are now using technology to anahilate rather than to produce and create?
